Hi, I’m Neela Sullivan. It’s nice to have you here!
I recently graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I studied Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations and minored in Business. I’ve combined communications, strategy, and analytics through experiences like serving as Vice President of Membership for Kappa Kappa Gamma, contributing to MassLive coverage of campus events, and developing a winning PR campaign in my capstone course. Professionally, I’ve interned in marketing communications, sales, and finance, where I’ve built skills in client relations, analytics, and creative problem-solving. I’m passionate about leveraging these experiences to craft strategic, impactful solutions and am currently exploring ways to connect PR, business, and data analytics in my career.
People often ask me what drew me to a career in PR/business, and the answer is pretty simple: I’ve always loved people. Whether it’s meeting new people, making friends, or being part of social environments, I’ve naturally found myself building relationships with those around me. Growing up, I was never the strongest in math, but I’ve always been a strong writer and have consistently been described as outgoing, friendly, and sociable. Altogether, that’s what made this industry feel so aligned with my strengths and interests.
Outside of my professional work, I’m a dog lover who enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. I value time with friends and family, and I enjoy traveling, exercising, and getting to the beach whenever I can. Recently, I’ve also been really interested in journaling, wellness, and personal growth.
I hope you enjoy exploring my site and learning more about my work.
